Description
Chicken and shrimp alfredo made easy in one pot. A creamy, cheesy pasta recipe packed with flavor and comfort.
Ingredients
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, diced
1/2 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
12 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
2 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tbsp cream cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chicken, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 4–5 minutes until browned.
2. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2–3 minutes. Remove both chicken and shrimp from the pot and set aside.
3. In the same pot, add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir to combine.
4. Add uncooked pasta. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer uncovered for 10–12 minutes until pasta is tender.
5. Stir in Parmesan, mozzarella, and cream cheese until sauce is smooth and creamy.
6. Return cooked chicken and shrimp to the pot. Stir to coat and heat through.
7. Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan for best results. Avoid overcooking shrimp—they turn rubbery quickly. Adjust salt at the end to balance cheese.
